Technical Videographer & Editor
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Mon-Fri: 10 AM - 6PM (Tuesdays, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM)
The Junior Video Editor's job is to help with the production and post-production of videos by editing footage, making visual effects and making sure the finished product adheres to the project's creative vision and meets the required quality standards. This may entail activities like trimming and organizing the video, synchronizing the audio, correcting the color and adding special effects.
By setting up and using equipment, working with other members of the production team and other media related tasks, a Junior Video Editor can also support the production process. The end goal is to produce visually appealing, high-quality videos that successfully convey the intended message to the target audience the Adtelligent way.
01. Proficient in using Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing
02. Assist with shoots by operating camera and sound equipment and serving as a runner as needed
03. Willingness to learn and be trained in camera operation, sound operation and other production-related tasks
04. Assist in pre-production work such as treatment writing, script writing, and storyboard writing
05. Participate in brainstorming and conceptualizing ideas for campaigns
06.Ensure that the final product meets the desired quality standards and adheres to the project's creative vision
07. Collaborate with other members of the production team to create high-quality, engaging and visually appealing videos the Adtelligent way.
Working Conditions
● Office Hours - 10am to 6pm.
● Ability to travel for events, primarily on weekends, is required.
● May be required to work on weekends (campaign launches, optimizing new campaigns,
reviewing decks, client events), or on public holidays (events, time-sensitive government
bids).
Responsibilities and Duties:
01. Skills and competencies for Adobe Premiere Pro
02. Good organizational skills to manage and archive project files
03. Skills and competencies for Adobe Audition (audio editing techniques such as mixing, mastering and noise reduction)
04. Knowledge of audio codecs, bit rates and sample rates
05. Experience with creating and editing sound effects, music and dialogue
06. Experience with creating and editing podcasts, voiceovers and radio spots
07. Good understanding of audio production principles and sound design
08. Ability to collaborate with other members of the production team and understand the creative vision of a project
Qualifications:
01. Undergraduate degree (not optional)
02. Certification in video editing and production
03. At least 2 years experience
04. A portfolio with your body of work
