Bid & Proposal Specialist + Content Writer Job Description

Work Hours: Mon-Fri: 10 AM - 6PM (Tuesdays, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM)
Adtelligent Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Bid & Proposal Specialist + Content Writer to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position requires a detail-oriented, deadline-driven professional who excels in both proposal writing and content creation. You will be responsible for managing and crafting compelling long-term bid proposals, as well as creating a wide range of content to support our marketing and business development efforts. This role offers a competitive base salary of 150K-300K JMD per month with the potential to earn up to 1.2 million JMD per month through commissions based on the success of bids.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Bid & Proposal Management:
01. Develop and Write Proposals: Craft high-quality, persuasive bid proposals that align with client requirements and company capabilities, focusing on long-term contracts (up to 3 years).
02. Coordinate with Teams: Collaborate with the Strategy & Business Development Lead and other departments to gather necessary information for proposals.
03. Manage Proposal Timelines: Ensure all bid proposals are completed and submitted on time, meeting all client specifications and deadlines. Expect periods of intense work as deadlines approach.
04. Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to support bid strategies, ensuring competitive and compelling proposals.
05. Proposal Review and Editing: Review and edit proposals to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with client expectations.
Content Writing & Marketing Support:
01. Create Marketing Content: Develop engaging and relevant content for various marketing channels, including websites, blogs, social media, newsletters, and sales collateral.
02. Support Campaigns: Work closely with the marketing team to produce content that supports campaign strategies and objectives.
03. Adapt Content for Different Audiences: Tailor content to suit the needs of various target audiences, ensuring it resonates and drives engagement.
04. Content Calendar Management: Assist in planning and managing the content calendar to ensure timely and consistent content delivery.
05. Editing and Proofreading: Ensure all content is grammatically correct, well-structured, and aligns with the brand’s tone and voice.
Cross-Functional Integration:
06. Collaboration with Creative Teams: Work closely with creative teams to integrate bid strategies with creative content, ensuring consistency across all client-facing materials.
07. Run Brainstorm Sessions: Lead and participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for proposals and campaigns.
08. Feedback Loop: Regularly gather and implement feedback from internal teams and clients to improve proposal quality and content effectiveness.
Metrics for Success:
01. Number of Bids Submitted: Track the total number of bids submitted each month.
02. Number of Bids Won: Monitor the success rate by tracking the number of winning bids.
03. Number of Second-Round Wins: Assess the effectiveness of proposals in competitive, multi-round bid processes.
04. Bid-to-Win Ratio: Measure the percentage of submitted bids that result in a win.
05. Total Contract Value: Measure the total value of contracts secured through successful bids.
06. Profitability of Contracts: Assess the profitability of each contract to ensure alignment with company financial goals.
07. Content Engagement Metrics: Analyze the performance of content created (e.g., web traffic, social media engagement) to ensure it drives business results.
08. Client Feedback Score: Collect and analyze client feedback on proposals to continuously improve quality.
09. Cross-Departmental Collaboration Score: Assess collaboration effectiveness with other departments, ensuring smooth execution of projects.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in proposal writing, content creation, or a related role.
