Technical Videographer & Video Editor Job Description
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Mon–Fri, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.)
Adtelligent Ltd. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Videographer & Video Editor to support video production from pre-production through post-production. The role involves operating camera and sound equipment, organizing footage and project files, editing video and audio, applying colour correction and visual effects, and collaborating with the production team to deliver polished content that meets each project's creative brief and quality standards.
01. Edit and assemble video footage using Adobe Premiere Pro.
02. Operate camera and sound equipment during shoots and assist the production crew as needed.
03. Organize, archive, and back up footage, audio, and project files.
04. Edit and mix dialogue, music, voice-overs, and sound effects using Adobe Audition.
05. Support pre-production by contributing to treatments, scripts, shot lists, and storyboards.
06. Participate in campaign brainstorming and help translate creative concepts into production plans.
07. Apply colour correction, audio cleanup, graphics, and visual effects where required.
08. Review final outputs for technical quality, brand consistency, and alignment with the approved creative direction.
09. Collaborate with the production and campaigns teams to deliver engaging, high-quality content on schedule.
Working Conditions
• Standard office hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with Tuesday hours beginning at 9:30 a.m.
• The role requires availability to travel for shoots and events, including occasional weekends.
• Occasional work outside standard hours may be required for time-sensitive productions, campaign launches, or client events.
Required Skills and Competencies:
01. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and a strong understanding of professional video-editing workflows.
02. Working knowledge of Adobe Audition, including dialogue cleanup, mixing, mastering, and noise reduction.
03. Understanding of cameras, lighting, sound recording, codecs, frame rates, bit rates, and audio sample rates.
04. Strong file-management and project-organization skills.
05. Good visual judgement, attention to detail, and an understanding of pacing, continuity, colour, and sound design.
06. Ability to interpret a creative brief, receive feedback, and collaborate effectively with a production team.
07. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently when required.
Qualifications:
01. Undergraduate degree in media, film, communication, production, or a related discipline.
02. Training or certification in video editing, videography, or production is an asset.
03. At least two years of relevant video production or post-production experience.
04. A portfolio or showreel demonstrating video-editing and production work.
05. Experience supporting on-location or studio shoots is preferred.
