Join our Free transformative 6-week workshop designed exclusively for young adults aged 20-30 in Jamaica. This comprehensive program combines personal growth with entrepreneurial skills, guided by Reverend Michele Synegal and facilitator Lady Sandie Granville, to empower you in achieving personal and professional success. Plus, meet and learn from real entrepreneurs every week, organized through Douglas Orane’s personal network

Reverend Michele Synegal
Reverend Michele Synegal

Reverend Michele K. Synegal Rev. Michele is President of Management Dynamics, Inc., specializing in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies. A facilitator with the Centers for Creative Leadership, she brings a human-centered approach to leadership development. Michele also serves as Senior Minister at the Temple of Light Centre for Spiritual Living in Kingston, Jamaica. An ordained minister and published author, Michele holds a master's degree in Consciousness Studies and a bachelor's degree in Human Relations and Organizational Behavior. Passionate about helping others realize their full potential, she enjoys writing, tennis, and yoga.


Lady Sandie Granville
Lady Sandie Granville

Lady Sandie Granville is an international business consultant specializing in personal branding, image development, and entrepreneurial coaching. With extensive experience advising individuals and businesses globally, Sandie brings valuable insights in business planning, marketing, mentorship, and professional development. She is committed to empowering young professionals to achieve entrepreneurial success confidently.


Workshop Schedule & Modules

Week 1: April 26th (2:00 PM - 5:00 PM)

  • Exploring Change – Success as an Attitude (4:00 PM - 5:00 PM): Learn how embracing change and cultivating a positive mindset is crucial for your growth.

Week 2: May 3rd (3:00 PM - 5:30 PM)

  • Success as an Attitude Thinking (3:00 PM - 4:00 PM): Deepen your understanding of positive self-talk, affirmations, and success-driven thinking.

  • Entrepreneurship - Get Going Business Starter (4:00 PM - 5:30 PM):

    • Introduction to the Business Startup Guide (Pages 1-11)

    • Personal assessment of character and skills

    • Personal development ranking for life satisfaction

    • Internal business skills assessment (finance, operations, advertising)

    • Motivation audit

    • Introduction to SMART Goals

    • SMART Goal homework assigned

Week 3: May 10th (3:00 PM - 5:30 PM)

  • Creating Your Success Map (3:00 PM - 4:00 PM): Set clear, actionable personal goals and create a success roadmap.

  • Entrepreneurship Workshop (4:00 PM - 5:30 PM):

    • Reinforce SMART Goals (Pages 11-13)

    • SWOT analysis for business

    • SWOT analysis for personal development

Week 4: May 17th (3:00 PM - 5:30 PM)

  • Entrepreneurship Coaching Session (Pages 14-19):

    • Self-assessment: How am I today?

    • Matching business aims with personal motivations

    • Clearly state your business idea

    • Knowledge and experience evaluation in your chosen sector

    • How to conduct market research

    • Defining and understanding your market

Week 5: May 24th (3:00 PM - 5:30 PM)

  • Entrepreneurship Preparation for Pitch Day:

    • Developing and understanding your contacts

    • How to develop and refine your business plan

    • Prepare for your pitch

    • Guidance on effective pitch techniques

    • Writing a to-do list

Week 6: May 31st (3:00 PM - 6:00 PM)

  • Pitch Day & Celebration:

    • Deliver a 5-minute pitch of your business idea

    • Receive feedback from industry experts and mentors

    • Networking mixer and celebration

    • Certificate ceremony for completion

A graduate of Edna Manley College and the University of the West Indies, she blends expertise in textile arts, history, and sustainable development to empower young creatives. Laura leads the Applied Arts Department at Edna Manley College and operates a Caribbean-inspired resort wear brand. Her work with organizations like JAMPRO, JBDC, and UNESCO highlights her commitment to cultural preservation and business development. As a mentor and business coach, she is passionate about helping the next generation turn their talents into thriving creative enterprises.
